Adhesive Performance
The adhesive is an all temperature adhesive developed to provide high initial tack and excellent adhesion to substrates with high surface energy, such as PET. It shows good reposition ability on PET. It is not recommended for substrates with low surface energy such as HDPE. It displays excellent die-cutting and stripping characteristics. It is suitable for applications where compliance with FDA 175.105 is required. It also complies with the migration requirement of EU Framework Regulation— (EC) No 1935/2004 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with non fatty-food. This section covers applications where for indirect or incidental contact food.
Applications and use
The typical application is beer label. Labeling for glass and PET bottles and other hard-body. Not recommend on others applications. The above does not represent any guarantee or warranty and the Purchaser must independently determine the suitability of the products for the Purchaser's purposes.
Conversion/printing
The top-coated face material can be printed by letterpress, flexo, gravure and silk screen, giving good print results with UV curing and water based inks. Acceptance of hot stamping foil is excellent. Caution should be exercised when inks are applied out to the edge of the label, particularly UV screen inks and UV cured varnishes, high shrinkage coatings can cause labels to lift off the liner. Ink testing is always recommended before production. Can be die cut and stripped at high speeds on standard web-fed presses using typical film tooling. Flat bed performance is good while solid and magnetic rotary dies need additional care. (Die cutting tools must be adjusted according to the polyester liner). Need avoid too much re-winding tension to causing bleeding.
Shelf life One year when stored at 23±2°C at 50±5% RH.
