Facestock

A white woodfree supercalendered paper with semi gloss appearance and specially treated in black on the back-side to give optimum opacity.

Basis Weight: 80 g/m2 ± 10% ISO 536

Caliper: 0.070 mm ± 10% ISO 534

Adhesive

A special purpose permanent rubber based adhesive.

Liner

A super calendared white glassine paper with excellent roll label converting properties.

Basis Weight: 60 g/m2 ± 10% ISO 536

Caliper: 0.052 mm ± 10% ISO 534

Adhesive Performance

The permanent rubber based adhesive combines high initial tack with excellent adhesion properties on a wide range of substrates especially card paper.

Applications and use

Opaque ‘coverall’ materials are traditionally used for overlabelling of errors or size changes on existing printed materials – or for barcoding where the underlying substrate may interfere with scannability. It is also used for the relabeling of obsolete pre-printed packaging for inventory control purposes. Conversion/printing

The product can be pre-printed by all conventional roll label techniques including water based flexo, UV letterpress and offset. If required the labels can be upgraded to a higher gloss level by additional varnishing.

One year when stored at 23 ± 2°C at 50 ± 5% RH.
